Team effort achieves accreditation
Cambridge University Hospitals, as part of the Cancer Research UK Cambridge Centre, has achieved re-accreditation by the Organisation of European Cancer Institutes (OECI) as a Comprehensive Cancer Centre for a further five years.
This is a prestigious designation which is only given to the top 20 cancer centres in Europe, including NKI in Amsterdam, L'Institut Curie and Gustave Roussy in Paris, and the Christie in Manchester.
The accreditation covers both the quality of the clinical cancer services in CUH and our neighbours at Royal Papworth, and all the research activities of the Cancer Centre, from basic to clinical research.
